I photograph people at work — fishermen at dawn, women running workshops out of their front rooms, families who have kept a shop alive for three generations. Nine years in, and I still think the best frame is the one taken after the subject forgets the camera is there.

Experience
Commissioned work for NGOs, magazines and brands across Egypt and Jordan. Two long-term series ongoing: coastal fishing communities, and family businesses older than the buildings they occupy.
Shot roughly forty features a year, from street reportage to studio portraits. Ran the photo desk for the last eight months.
