About
How it started
Velorah started with a complaint we all shared: every tool we tried made us feel like our careers were a series of forms to fill. Templates that screamed, exports that broke, portfolios that looked like everyone else's. We were building fine careers with tools that didn't respect the work.
So we built the tool we wanted. A place where writing the truth about yourself once is enough. Then a CV. Then a portfolio. Then a PDF that survives job portals. All from the same quiet file.
We are a small team, and we plan to stay small. Not because small is fashionable, but because craft doesn't scale well when it's measured in headcount. Every decision here gets made slowly, survives argument, and is paid for by people who use the product daily.
Velorah is not a platform we're renting space on. It's a studio we live in. The tools we build are the tools we use to tell our own stories — we simply let you use them too.
What we believe
01
If a design decision doesn't help someone find your name faster, it doesn't ship. Personality comes from precision, not from noise.
02
Your profile is the truth. Every document is a rendering of it. When two versions of you disagree, something is broken.
03
A CV that can't be parsed by hiring software is a CV that doesn't get read. We test every template against real applicant tracking systems.
04
A beautiful screen version that falls apart in the portal is a broken product. We test exports the way you'll use them: in other people's systems.
05
We ship deliberately. A feature lands when its details are right, not when a calendar demands it. You'll feel the difference in the corners.
06
No dark patterns, no hostage data. Export it, download it, leave if you must. We'd rather earn your stay.
The quietest rooms produce the loudest work.

The path
2025
Three people, one shared frustration with every CV tool on the market. The first prototype was a text file and an argument about fonts.
Late 2025
A working editor takes shape. First real users are friends with actual deadlines — the most expensive feedback there is.
2026
Portfolios join the studio. One profile now drives a CV, a website and exports. The project becomes what it is today: one quiet file, many faithful versions.
